Warm-ups & jewelry
Keep classwear focused.
No street wear, including T-shirts, sweatshirts, and gym shorts, is allowed in class.
If the instructor permits, proper ballet warm-ups may be worn at the beginning of barre. They must be removed after the first few exercises or whenever requested.
No watches or jewelry may be worn, except small, secure earrings. Hoop earrings are not allowed.

Hair
Neat, secure, and off the face.
A slicked-back bun is the standard ballet hairstyle, with no bangs or wispies. Loosely tied hairstyles and ponytails are not allowed.
Students with short hair must also have it securely and neatly pulled back from the face. A Ballet Twist or similar style is allowed for Ballet 5 and above.
For younger dancers: Please arrive with a proper bun already in place. Do not send a child without a bun expecting someone else to do it; everyone is attending to their own children or preparing for class.
